Local audio editing

Audio files are processed on your device. Your audio contents, filenames, paths, waveforms, exact durations and selected timestamps are never uploaded. Original files are unchanged. The extension stores filenames, sizes, modification times, duration, selected boundaries and speed locally for up to 200 recent files, so it can restore your settings.

Product analytics

MP3 Cutter stores a random installation identifier. It sends installation, update, editor opening, file loading, playback, cut, export, cancellation and removal events through mp3-cutter.monoapps.pro to our analytics system. Events include the random identifier, extension version, interface language and limited properties: picker or drag-and-drop, keep or remove operation, and precise export mode. No audio or file metadata is included. This information helps measure usage and reliability.

Servers receive IP addresses when handling network requests. Visitor IP addresses are not forwarded in analytics event fields. The uninstall page receives the random identifier and extension version, sends a removal event and clears the parameters from the visible URL. Service logs and backups may be retained for operation of the service. Analytics data is not sold or used for advertising.
